The Five James – Who are they?

The five James namesakes for the Five James Foundation are all family members of mine, Sheran Zellous White.  Each one of them carried the name James.  Many have asked who are they and how is that they are no longer on this side of life?  Below is a brief bio on each.  I still struggle with these losses.  I haven't gotten the courage to post their pictures to this website.  As time goes by and the healing continues maybe one day I will find the strength to post their pictures.

The logo was designed by board member, Vivian Brand Taylor, Esq.  She had no idea of the significance of the colors she chose for each.  My husband, Billy, wore black most of the time, green was the favorite color of my son, BJ and the two white J's are lifted up to represent they belong to the green J their father; they are white for their innocence and the red is for my nephew, James, he was wearing all red the last time I saw him at his birthday party just days before his death.

The flag of Kenya has the very same colors.  This is where it all began.
